Seth was the First Nephilim and their Divine King, the son of Eve and surrogate son of Archangel Michael, he was created as an experiment by God in the search of improving on the design of humanity. Seth felt sorry for his Nephilim brethren, outlawed as they were by God and actively hunted by Angels, innocents trapped in Hell's war with the rest of the Universe.
Seth began saving his kind, protected them and trained them in battle, gave them knowledge and the beginnings of a culture. Some he even raised as children, adopted or even created them, with his own experiments. Branding these grown children with their own Stigma of Virtue and thus turning them into the personification of the Seven Cardinal Virtues, through an Enochian Ritual that had to do with drinking his blood and Grace, Seth created an elite circle of followers.
Nephilim dominated the Earth and the War, God feared the extinction of the Human race, Nephilim supplanting them and creating a true "Third Kingdom" on the Earth in opposition to Heaven and Hell. The Nephilim had their souls extracted from their bodies, those of the lower hierarchy were imprisoned in Hell and became the Shedim, while Seth and his followers were sealed away in Sheol.
