Mjolnir is the Hammer that Pagan made for Thor when he created him.
Thor's hammer is exceptionally powerful and destructive, and Pagan put an enchantment on it that rendered nearly unbreakable and unable to be lifted by those who are not worthy of it.
Thor can channel many of his powers through the hammer, and uses it in combat to focus his abilities more effectively.
