Richard "Dick" Roman is the human identity of the chief Leviathan. He was released from Purgatory when Castiel consumed all of the souls in effort to become God but was unable to contain it. He soon took the place of a wealthy businessman and assumed his identity. Dick ran a multi-million dollar conglomerate as a cover to try and have total control over the human race. He leads all of the others with an iron fist and has since their creation. His hold of them is relentless where the mere thought of disappointing him strikes instant fear into the rest. His favored punishment for the Leviathan is 'bibbing' which involves them consuming themselves.
Dick had a strong policy of operating under secrecy and grew displeased whenever their activities recieved any sort of media attention. He was planning to make the humans complacent in an effort to have a fat and succulent food source for the Leviathan. He engineered formulas to be put into their food to do so as well as make their DNA poisonous to other monsters so that the Leviathan would be the only ones to eat them. He was killed with a special weapon made from a bone of a righteous human dipped in the the blood of a fallen angel, King of Hell and an Alpha. Dean used it to kill him with the help of Castiel. Dick was killed in an explosion of black goo and was returned to Purgatory but he took his two slayers with him.
