Astoroth is one of the Eldritch Horrors, who are ancient beings of cosmic horror.
Astoroth is the Eldritch Horror of Madness and it is also known as The Mad God due to its ability to remove the inhibitions, morals, and mental stability from almost any being and the fact that it was worshiped at one point in time.
History[]
Astoroth came into being long ago at the same moment as its siblings aside from Ahgon, as a cosmic horror that was dedicated to causing chaos and madness wherever it could. The Eldritch Horrors were defeated and locked away by the Host of Heaven, but could not be killed even with the combined might of Heaven reigning down upon them.
Powers and Abilities[]
Astoroth is an Eldritch Horror, and as such is a powerful being.
- Low Tier Nigh-Omnipotence: Astoroth holds a great deal of power and is able to nearly match Raphael, requiring the Archangel to have the Grigori and Seraphim use a combined smite to weaken it so the Archangel could finally defeat it.
- Super Strength: Astoroth holds a great deal of physical strength, and is almost physically equal to Raphael.
- Madness Inducement: Astoroth is able to cause madness in any mortal being and most immortal beings, removing their inhibitions, morals, conscience, and mental stability. The full influence of Astoroth can cause entire species to lose all rationality.
- Cosmic Awareness: Astoroth has a vast knowledge of creation, the nature of mortal beings, and madness.
- Immortality: Astoroth is immortal, and as such is above age or disease.
- Nigh-Invulnerability: Astoroth is nearly indestructible, with the Raphael being unable to defeat the Eldritch Horror without the Grigori and Seraphim first hitting it with a combined smite.

Astoroth is powerful, but not invincible.
Beings[]
- Primordial Beings: As the first beings in existence can destroy the Eldritch Horrors.
- Archangels: A single Archangel is able to outmatch a single Eldritch Horror, however the beings of light are just barely stronger.
- Host of Heaven: The combined might of the angels sealed the Eldritch Horrors away with some assistance from the Horsemen.
- Insanity: Astoroth is insane, and his actions are unpredictable to even himself. Those who are mentally unhinged are also unaffected by his power as they are already insane.
Weapons[]
- Primordial Weapons: The personal weapons of God, Chaos, Pagan, Death, and Oberon can kill Astoroth.
- Hand of God: The Hands of God can kill Astoroth.
- Personal Weapons of the Archangels: These artifacts can potentially kill Astoroth.
- Archangel Blades: The strongest variant of angelic blades used by the Archangels can harm or kill Astoroth if he takes a physical form.
- Angel Blade/Sword: These weapons could lightly injure Astoroth if he took a physical form.
